A 6-day vacation in Georgia will give you wonderful relaxation and fill you with vivid memories. You’ll visit Tbilisi, the famous Borjomi resort, Prometheus Cave, Martvili Canyon, Kutaisi, and the sacred city of Mtskheta.
Day 1.
Meeting at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2.
Sightseeing walking tour of the historical part of Tbilis

Metekhi Plateau is a historic district of Tbilisi, located on a cliff above the Mtkvari (Kura) River.
The “Mother of Georgians” monument has become one of Tbilisi’s symbols.
Narikala Fortress is the most famous and ancient monument of Tbilisi’s antiquity, as the fortress’s construction is believed to date back to the fourth century.
Tbilisi Mosque, also known as Juma Mosque, is built at the foot of Narikala Fortress.

Abanotubani (Bath Quarter) is a historic district in the center of Tbilisi, famous for its bathhouse complex built on natural sulfur springs.
Meidan is one of the most popular sites in Tbilisi.
Sioni Cathedral is historically the main church in Tbilisi.
Anchiskhati is a 6th-century church and one of the oldest surviving churches in Tbilisi.
The Rezo Gabriadze Tbilisi State Puppet Theater is also located there.
The Bridge of Peace is a pedestrian bridge across the Kura River.
Day 3.
Chronicle of Georgia, Jvari Monastery, Borjomi, Kutaisi

The “Chronicles of Georgia” is a monument dedicated to the history of Georgia, located in Tbilisi, near the Tbilisi Sea. Construction of the monument began in the 1980s and was designed by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli.

Jvari Monastery (6th century) is located on a mountaintop at the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers near Mtskheta. The mountain offers stunning views of Mtskheta and the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers.

Borjomi Central Park is a green paradise in this resort town. Here, you can drink the famous Borjomi mineral water, renowned for its healing properties and unique taste, straight from the spring. Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is one of the largest national parks in Europe.
In the evening we will arrive in the city of Kutaisi, the capital of Imereti, and stay at a hotel.
Day 4.
Bagrati Cathedral, Prometheus Cave, Martvili Canyon

The Bagrat Cathedral was built in Kutaisi during the reign of Bagrat III as the main cathedral of the united Georgian Kingdom and consecrated in honor of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary in 1003. Majestic in size and proportions, the cathedral marked a fundamentally new era in the history of Transcaucasian architecture, was lavishly decorated with carvings and mosaics, and played a crucial role in the medieval history of Georgia.

Prometheus Cave is a karst cave in western Georgia. The cave’s total length is approximately 11 km, of which 1,060 m are open to visitors.

Martvili Canyon is located in the Martvili Municipality. The 700-meter-long, stone-paved circular trail starts from the Martvili Canyon Visitor Center and crosses the historic Dadiani Trail. There are two bridges, three observation platforms, and a historic 30-step staircase constructed from large limestone boulders. Visitors can enjoy a 300-meter boat ride along the Abasha River and stunning views of the mountain river canyon.
We’ll return to Kutaisi in the evening.

Kutaisi is Georgia’s third-largest city by population, traditionally second only to the capital, Tbilisi. Kutaisi was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Colchis. It is believed that in the Argonautica, the Greek epic poem about Jason and the Argonauts and their voyage to Colchis, the author, Apollonius of Rhodes, considered Kutaisi to be his final destination.
Day 5.
Mtskheta and Svetitskhoveli
In the morning after breakfast we will head back to Tbilisi and on the way we will visit the city of Mtskheta.

Mtskheta – this area was inhabited as early as the Bronze Age. In the early 4th century, a missionary from Jerusalem, Nino, preached Christianity in Mtskheta. It is said that Saint Nino’s prayer caused a storm and hailstorm, destroying the idols of Armazi. King Mirian III embraced the new religion, and Christianity became the state religion.
The historical monuments of Mtskheta are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Svetitskhoveli is the patriarchal cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church in honor of the Twelve Apostles, built in 1010-1029, on the site of Georgia’s first Christian church, erected over the grave of St. Sidonia, buried with the chiton of Jesus Christ taken from Jerusalem.
We’ll return to Tbilisi and stay at a hotel.
Free time in Tbilisi.
Day 6.
Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
